Frequently asked questions about pet grooming
How often should I have my dog professionally groomed?
How often your dog needs professional grooming depends on their breed, coat and lifestyle. Dogs with long or curly coats may need grooming every 4–8 weeks, while short-haired dogs generally need less frequent professional grooming.
Can you groom my anxious pet?
Absolutely. Our experienced groomers take the time to work with each pet's individual temperament and comfort level. If your pet is nervous, reactive, or new to grooming, let us know when you book. If we are unable to work with your pet for their own safety, we will notify you right away.
What if my pet's coat is matted?
We will do our best to remove matts gently. Severe matting requires shaving and an additional fee. We will never use harmful methods to remove matts. If your pet has severe matts we may be unable to help. Please let us know at the time of booking if your pet has matts.
Can my dog do grooming and daycare in the same day?
Yes! In fact, many of our daycare clients have their dog groomed regularly while they're already here for the day. The grooming appointment does need to be booked for separately.
